Delay, deny, depose and drones

In the last minute of Friday night’s Washington Week with The Atlantic on PBS, Mark Liebovich got one minute to comment on how Pres. Joe Biden’s administration has been covering up his cognitive failings for a very long time. One minute, the last minute of the show, that was it - but I found it hopeful.

When I mentioned it in PBS and CNN social media, I was mocked. People who apparently didn’t take the time to view the one minute wanted to assume I didn’t like Biden because of his stutter as they rushed to the lame duck president’s defense. I replied my problem with Biden was because of multiple things which I listed, but mostly because of his Covid rhetoric and policies that caused death, disability and disease. They did not respond to that content either. Instead, the response was a swift “take-down” that would have pleased former NIH director Francis Collins.

I was told Russia was recruiting disinformation spreaders, received a bunch of tin-hat gif replies, patronizing told stupid people are too stupid to realize they are stupid, and that cognitive dissonance is incurable but they will “pray for me.” I couldn’t help but notice that I stuck to facts and documented my responses, while they responded with emotionally driven personal attacks on me.

Many of you might be wondering why I bother watching PBS, NPR or CNN, let alone commenting in their social media spaces. Well, it is for the same reason Aaron Siri published a response in the Wall Street Journal to the New York Times false article that claimed ‘Bobby Kennedy’s lawyer was trying to eliminate the polio vaccine.’ ¹

• It is immoral to allow the truth to be buried beneath lies.

Silence is complicity, and denial of truth is a devilish coping mechanism. We saw that in early and mid-20th century Europe. Supreme Allied Commander General Dwight D. Eisenhower forced the German residents of nearby towns to tour the liberated concentration camps so that they could not honestly deny the horror that was being perpetuated in their backyards. Ike would be dismayed that Holocaust deniers still exist. But there you are. ²

God willing, Bobby and his team at HHS can make progress in not just undoing the genocide our American brand of fascism known as “public-private partnerships” have wrought on us in the late 20th and early 21st centuries, but also forcing the masses to face the truth about corporate capture of regulatory agencies and lawfare³.

Cognitive dissonance is a disability, and believing false narratives despite the evidence to the contrary is not unlike dementia. Although we may have been brainwashed into adopting these narratives in the beginning, there comes a time when these are illusions we stubbornly chose to believe and we justify ourselves by whatever means we can, such as through name-calling and patronization.

Those mechanisms are consistent with narcissism. The narcissist will project their behaviors onto their targets. They gaslight and confabulate. They hold onto their warped world-view like a dog with a bone, a vicious dog.

An article in The Hill today laments that “the joy is gone” and that the liberal left is engaging in “hate-filled holidays.”⁴ The article quotes rage-full liberals who pledge to throw drinks into the faces of Bobby Kennedy and his team if they see them out and about in Washington. So much for living in a country that values the rule of law, peace, and an orderly transfer of power. We’ve become a nation of mindless drones that have no idea who is at the controls or how we are being manipulated.

For the record: Yard signs, facebook memes and other virtue-signaling behaviors do not make us virtuous. Neither does bullying people with whom we disagree make us good people. It’s only a short step from that type of behavior to rationalizing assassinating a rich insurance company CEO on the streets of NYC.⁵

Lesson for the Day: Some people may be incapable of learning because of narcissistic impulses or brainwashing, but we owe everyone a chance to learn the truth and to chose the right thing, even as formerly trustworthy agencies continue to spread disinformation in service of their agenda.

We are seeing cracks in the media, as evidenced in that snippet from Washington Week. Even former CDC Director Robert Redfield said Bobby Kennedy was the right pick to head HHS.⁶ If enough people in the right places manage to look at the evidence and make the right choices, maybe late night comics who normalize name-calling and bullying behavior and the rest of the wanna-be influencers will stop promoting an agenda of hate and genocide.

Alternatively, although I suspect the drones that have been sighted over the Northeast this past couple of weeks are delivering Xmas presents, I wouldn’t be averse to an invasion of powerful miniature ETs who take over Earth governance if they get the poisons out of our water, food, air and medicines. ⁷
