The insane carnival mirror quality of the world when caught in a narcissistic relationship is what does the most damage to the target. It strains the mind.
The targets of narcissists find themselves recording or documenting conversations in real time in an effort to both have evidence when their abuser denies having said or done something and to reassure themselves of their own sanity. Sadly, that doesn’t help much.
People in general have a knee jerk reaction to deny wrong-doing, and antagonistic personalities like narcissists are entirely impervious to any proof contradicting their point of view at any moment. Their current world-view and self-image is their only reality, regardless of how changeable and disconnected it is from objective reality. Consequently, they will ignore or dismantle any evidence that contradicts what they want in that moment. Moreover, they know how to use their personal and professional power, as well as their intellect and emotions, in order to do exactly that. They are extremely destructive and will convince us that they are protecting us and that it is our duty to follow their instructions.
We saw this with testimony from both NIAID Director, Tony Fauci, and CDC Director, Rochelle Walensky. The following quotes come to mind:
“Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.” - Voltaire
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” - C.S. Lewis
“It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." - Upton Sinclair
There is no difference between a government or pharmaceutical company that lies to the public about “safe and effective” and a wife-beater who claims he didn’t hit you or didn’t hurt you, expresses remorse for breaking your arm and promises he is a new man who will never harm you again because he loves you, or blaming you or someone else for his actions.
And there is no difference between the flying monkey family members who minimize the abuse and tell you to stay and resolve to be a better wife so that he can be a better man and the government that claims that their aggressive campaigns that tanked the economy, such as lockdowns and travel restrictions, and that killed or maimed millions, such as the banning of effective therapeutics and the institution of coercive vaccine mandates, are the fault of “the virus” and that things will be better in the future.
The calculating narcissist or sociopath and the flying monkey may have different styles, like the Queen of Hearts and Red Queen in Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland series, but they are both manipulative perpetuators of perspecticide.1
Our future will not only get worse, our present situation is worse than most of us realize. The corruption of media with “advocacy journalism” funded by pharmaceutical drug pushers and “regulatory capture” funded by those and other corporate entities, makes the lobby dollars paid to politicians who promote fairy tales instead of admitting reality look like chicken feed. Even our universities get substantial dollars from corrupt industries and government agencies, in many cases exceeding the income from tuition, which explains the insane college vaccine mandates.
The fact of the matter is: even though the CDC, Pharma leadership and public health organizations finally have admitted that the vaccines we accepted never had any potential of “protecting others” or potential for long term durability, and even though they admit there are significant known risks of blood clots and heart damage for the recipient, the propaganda that was drilled into our heads with the constant drum beat of a bought media persists in a majority of people who cannot counter the thought that they were betrayed by those they trusted.
This stubborn adherence to the false narrative by millions is magical thinking born of a confused mind trying to make sense of three years of feeling its way through Looking Glass corridors of distorted reality. It is based on “hope” not facts. It’s representative of complex post-traumatic stress syndrome (C-PTSD), Stockholm syndrome, and brainwashing. It’s grounded in damaged psyches and a world gone mad.
I suggest that true representations of the world we live in, along with messages of how to recover, can be found in the following two items:
Del Bigtree’s concise State of the Union Address (15 min)
Lies My Government Told Me: And the Better Future Coming by Robert W. Malone, MD, MS, Skyhorse (2022).
The undistorted reality is that both Pharma and Government agencies (Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), etc.) spent far more money (a billion from HHS) and effort on constructing propaganda campaigns in order to manipulate behavior that provided profit to Pharma and prestige to politicians than they did on testing their product. They are the Red Queens2 in the novels by Lewis Carroll. Like Alice, we need to find our way out of that world full of destructive megalomaniacs, anxious rabbits, and Mad Hatters.3
I also suggest that we need to give up our hope for better from any of the players in this mad drama that has gripped the world, not be distracted by balloons or wars, and embrace the grief of betrayal in order to rebuild a world that is real.
Perspecticide: The psychological tactics employed by an abuser that invalidates the victim’s perspective or worldview. By persistent repetition of messages that contradict the victim and/or reality, the abuser creates stress and confusion in the victim who becomes more uncertain of themselves and more acquiescent to their abuser. Perspecticide is a brainwashing technique. It is also a component of propaganda campaigns used in authoritarian societies. (from Dance with the Devil: Love in the Age of Covid by Maggie Russo)
There are two powerful and narcissistic queens in the Wonderland series by Lewis Carroll who wrote: “I pictured to myself the Queen of Hearts as a sort of embodiment of ungovernable passion – a blind and aimless Fury. The Red Queen I pictured as a Fury, but of another type; her passion must be cold and calm – she must be formal and strict, yet not unkindly; pedantic to the 10th degree, the concentrated essence of all governesses!”
The White Queen is another interesting player who personifies gullibility. She routinely believes impossible things, and explains that in her youth she believed "six impossible things before breakfast." The White Queen counsels Alice to practice the same skill.
Thank you for your writing! I hadn't heard of perspecticide before but see this with regard to telecom as well: https://ehtrust.org/what-evidence-of-people-injured-by-wireless-radiation-was-ignored-by-the-fcc-historic-lawsuit-eht-et-al-v-fcc
